Successful Completion of ASD 2025 on FPSO Ruby II & FSO Golden Star

PPS proudly completed the Annual Scheduled Maintenance (ASD 2025) for FPSO Ruby II and FSO Golden Star, marking a key milestone in August–September 2025.

  • FPSO Ruby II: Maintenance ran from 26–28 August, achieving 100% of planned tasks, completed ahead of schedule with zero safety incidents.
  • FSO Golden Star: From 23 August to 5 September, the campaign also reached 100% completion, meeting all operational targets.

Preparation of ASD 2025 began in late 2024, with a focus on:

  • Strategic planning for seamless execution
  • Expert manpower mobilization
  • Early provisioning of tools and equipment
  • Rigorous procedure reviews and safety compliance
  • Comprehensive risk assessments and mitigation

Throughout the campaign, PPS maintained close coordination with PVN Blocks 01&02, IGPV, and subcontractors, ensuring smooth collaboration and continuous improvement.

Operational Excellence Delivered:

On FPSO Ruby II, nearly 140 personnel from PPS and its subcontractors were mobilized, working in two continuous shifts over 72 hours to ensure progress and precision. The results speak for themselves:

  • 57/57 work items completed as planned
  • Finished 2 hours ahead of schedule
  • Zero incidents affecting personnel, environment, or equipment
  • Successful execution of complex, multi-party tasks requiring expert coordination

Meanwhile, on FSO Golden Star, PPS teams worked in close synergy with contractor personnel to deliver:

  • 15/15 work items completed
  • Finished 5 days ahead of schedule
  • Maintained absolute safety throughout the campaign
